10. How do I get  a "featured" link in the directory for my site?

1. What is RPGSeek.com?

RPGSeek is a human-indexed search engine and directory dedicated to tabletop role-playing games. Our search engines are limited to a specific list of  sites, based on a topic (ie 4th Edition or blogs). Every web site  is verified by a human  before it goes in our index as active and role-playing related.  This greatly reduces the "junk" results from a standard search engine query.

2. You are powered by Google, so why are you better than going to Google.com?

Every site is hand verified as useful, appropriate and most importantly, tabletop role-playing related.  For example, when you search for something in our "RPG Bloggers" search engine, the top results you see are for active, on-topic role-playing blogger sites. You will never see a result from some spam site, long-dead blog or Wikipedia on RPGSeek.com. Guaranteed!

3. Can I submit a site to your search engine?

Yes! Every site you submit makes the index and directory more useful. You can submit a site using this link:

Submit a site to RPGSeek.com

It may take a few days for the site to appear in our index.

4. What is the difference between your search engines?

RPG Publishers: Official home pages of role-playing game publishers only.  Note: wizards.com is not included in this engine. They have so much keyword mojo on Google they distort the results. See below.

Role-Playing Bloggers:
Active blogs related to role-playing. If you want an opinion, a review or a rant, this is the search engine for you!

4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons: Sites related to the current release of this venerable game. Game software, blogs, quality fan sites and wizards.com comprise this category.

Everything Role-Playing: All of the engines above and any other quality role-playing site. A catch-all search engine for a broad-based search.

5. Does it cost anything to add a site to your directory or search engine?

RPGSeek.com is free!  If it is role-playing related, current and useful, then it will go in the index and directory.

6. One of the sites in your directory or search engine is dead or now a spam site. How can I have it removed from the index?

Just drop us a line with the site link and the issue. We will review it and remove it from the index if necessary.

If none of these options will suffice, contact us for an iframe solution. It requires a bit more technical skill, but it is more flexible about site integration.

8. Do I need to put a reciprocal link on my site to be listed in the index or directory?

No. There is no requirement for a reciprocal link on a site to be listed on RPGSeek.com.  This is not a "link exchange" site. If you are listed here, you earned your inclusion with quality, relevant role-playing content. However, if you find RPGSeek.com a useful resource, please link back to us!

9.  You only have a few categories in the directory. Can I add a category?

Yes. Just click on the "Contact Us" link  to make a suggestion.

10. How do I get  a "featured" link in the directory for my site?

"Featured" status in the directory is available for a small monthly fee, but  we are also open to link exchanges, game supplies or other barter arrangements. Contact us for specifics and pricing.
